Having An Affair? Better Be Sure To Cover Your Tracks.
How do they do it? People who have affairs, how do they cover their tracks and keep that part of their life separate from their life with their spouse?
This is something I have often wondered because, honestly, I’d get caught. Probably right off the bat.
I’m a highly organized person. I have to be because I don’t have an ability to juggle too many things at once. An affair would be one more thing to juggle and I’d definitely drop the ball.
With all our modern technology, it is easier for those who are having an affair to communicate. It is also much easier for those having an affair to slip up and not cover their tracks.
Take for instance the soldier who came home from Iraq and filed for divorce after finding his wife had spent her evenings virtual bowling with another man. The silly woman had allowed her lover to create a Mii profile, which was later discovered by her husband. When confronted by her husband she admitted that the mystery Mii was her lover.
Or, the Australian cricket player who sent his wife a text message that was intended for his lover. A Blackberry is great but if you are having an affair, it pays to think before hitting send.
It is easy to find someone to have an affair with these days. Just post a profile on Adultfriendfinder.com and before long, you’ve got a little something on the side. Make sure you erase browser history and don’t leave any tracks your spouse can find though. These days you can be sure spouses are more knowledgeable when it comes to following digital footprints.
I was once tempted to have an affair. The thing that kept me from doing it was, I loved my husband but I also couldn’t imagine all the work it would take to keep an affair a secret. It didn’t seem worth all the trouble. Back then I didn’t have a cell phone, rarely used email and had no idea a person could Google themselves up an affair partner.
The world has changed and although I curse my cell phone and email at times I have to believe that if technology is making it harder to hide an affair it is worth the frustration I feel when I open my email inbox to find 360 emails.
So, if you are out there cheating on your spouse, remember, the criminal mind sets it’s on trap. Be careful that your laptop or blackberry doesn’t become a trap instead of a convenient way to communicate with your lover. Or, even better, drop the lover and go home to your spouse where you belong.
