Divorce lawyers I've spoken to are of the opinion that their line of work is recession proof. According to some, good economic times mean people seek a divorce so they can enjoy their wealth without being tied to an unwanted spouse. In bad economic times, couples fight over having less money which in turn leads to divorce.
Traffic has been high here at Divorce Support so that leads me to believe that whether times or good or bad financially people who want out of a marriage are going to get out. I am curious though about how many of you are hear because the recession has turned an otherwise good marriage into one you want to run from

Cathy, I fully believe during this recession women need to work at putting more fantasy and romance in their marriage. The husband needs an escape too. I am a writer of life, relationships and romance. If I may, let me tell you about my new book, “Beth:Love Along The Way…by B.G.Sanford,” and just released by Eloquent Books. It’s the amazing and entertaining story of one woman who overcomes all odds and obstacles that life has thrown at her, along with a couple of bitter divorces, to find real Love…….Along the Way. For those so inclined, my book can be purchased on line or have your favorite bookstore order it for you. Either way, the reader is in for a treat.
Good reading my friends,

The recession has actually helped my recent divorce adjustment for the children. We have had to cut down on expenses, but it just seems natural to do it, since everyone else is, married or not. If my kids complain, I tell them to watch the news. They are old enough to see that the economy is bad for everyone and that everyone is talking about cutting spending. They don’t blame our tighter budget on the divorce. I can show them that I am lucky to have a job and can support us when so many people have lost so much.
Really useful and interesting insights and I included it for my survive recession blog readers in case any are going through this right now.
Keep up the great advice.
