If you are at your optimum emotionally you are in control of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. You will have good self-esteem and be able to keep any person problems in perspective and deal with them in a healthy manner.

Good emotional health is extremely important if you are going through a divorce.

The longer you've been married, the more you have acquired and whether or not you have children can play a role in how difficult divorce is for you. The only one of these you have any control over is your emotional well-being. The more emotionally fit you are, the more able you will be to protect your legal rights.
