Yes, my lawyer fell asleep the day of the trial and did not show up. They postponed it. I went through three horrible lawyers before doing it myself at the end. I should have done it myself from the start. The whole divorce process is a scam.
Were you the victim of an unethical judge?
My Judge's roommate in college whom she is still good friends with. That same roommate is good friends with my ex wife. I filed a complaint against the judge, but like all complaints in Massachusetts (92%) are dismissed. Can you say Kangaroo process?
What needs to change in the Family Court System?
Shared Parenting should be the norm. They should follow the Supreme Court standard of a fit parent should be able to share physical custody. It should not be based on popularity contests or whom has the best lawyer. Dads are good parents too. Shenanigans should not be allowed. If you are fit, you get to parent, period.

- Lawyers are crooks and the system is broke.
- They should have forced mediation and collaborative divorce and follow the Supreme Court Standard that fit parents have fundamental rights to parent and unless unfit, that is the way it should be.
